Hosting, maintenance and protection
We take on the technical support of the product after launch — hosting on our servers, uptime monitoring and backups. We provide protection against DDoS attacks, break-ins and data leaks, and set up SSL certificates and firewalls.
What the work includes
- A domain, a certificate and mail on the domain — set up once and renewed without you
- Availability and speed monitoring, with an alert before it turns into an outage
- Scheduled backups, and a check that you can actually restore from them
- Protection from DDoS attacks, bots and password brute-forcing: a firewall and filtering of request spikes
- Updates to the system environment and dependencies, so that holes are closed before anyone finds them
How the work goes
- 1 Intake We take over the project: we look at where it lives now and at the state of the environment versions, the certificate, the backups and the access
- 2 Move We move the project to a prepared server: an environment for the task, a certificate, mail on the domain and access — all set up once and renewed automatically after that
- 3 Monitoring We set up availability and speed monitoring: we are the ones who find out about an outage, at night and without you
- 4 Protection We shut out the usual noise: bots, password brute-forcing, request spikes. We update the environment and dependencies before someone finds the holes for us
- 5 Report We keep running the project: a report on what changed, and a clear answer if something went wrong
