Small business website
A minimal but real website: what you do, what it costs, how to get in touch. For when all you have instead of a site is a map listing or a messenger profile, and that is no longer enough.
A small website is an honest option for a start, if you understand its limits. It gives you your own address on the internet, looks right on a phone and lets you run ads for which a directory listing is not enough. What it does not give you is a flow of customers from search: that needs separate pages for separate searches, and a small site has none by definition. We build such sites so that later they can grow into a full one, keeping everything already written. A practical sign that a small site is no longer enough: you regularly explain the same things in chats — what a service includes, the timing, the way you work. As soon as those explanations add up to three or four separate pages, it is cheaper to turn them into pages and get traffic from them than to retell them to everyone by hand.
What’s included
- A clear description: what you do, for whom and how you are different
- Services with prices or price ranges — without them a site does not answer the visitor’s main question
- Contacts and messenger buttons, so that getting in touch takes one tap
- Responsive layout and speed: the site opens on a phone in a fraction of a second
- Basic SEO and analytics — so there is something to grow from later
- Your own domain and email on it instead of an address on a free service
